Why Invest In A Wedding Video?

rebekah-and-will-mitchellThe areas of Upstate South Carolina, (such as Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Greenwood, Clemson and Easley, among others) and Western North Carolina (Asheville, Hendersonville, etc) are beautiful places to have a wedding year round. At Brian Kelly Wedding Videography, we have produced hundreds of wedding videos shot at both indoor and outdoor locations in these areas, as well as have covered weddings all over the world (We enjoy filming destination weddings).

Are you asking yourself "Why should you have a professional wedding video?"

A professionally produced wedding video captures your wedding memories like no other medium. A wedding video not only captures the events that you are a part of, but also those that you will miss, such as your family and friends arriving to the wedding, your spouse-to-be nervously awaiting their chance to say "I Do", and many other moments that happen while you are waiting to walk down the aisle. What is the groom saying to his friends? What do the musicians sound like? A wedding video captures those moments and many others so that long after your wedding day, you can experience, enjoy, and share them.

Professional Video Services are irreplaceable when it comes to capturing a life moment like a wedding. "Uncle Bob's" new video camera might be great for family vacations, but when it comes to a wedding, high-quality professional equipment with the capability to work in low light (it gets REALLYdark at some receptions), and a staff of experienced professionals to make sure all of the settings are correct, have the ability to use that equipment, and are able to anticipate action and track it as it happens with a steady hand to avoid shaky camera shots, bad angles, and shots of feet, ceilings, and backs.

morgan-and-brianFortunately, Brian Kelly Wedding Videography uses professional equipment (including High Definition Cameras, if desired), and our experienced staff of videographers know how to use it from years of formal training, filming hundreds of weddings, covering hundreds of live events (including professional cycling events - do you know how fast those guys go and how unpredictable their movements are - especially when you are filming from a moving vehicle?), as well as producing dozens of broadcast television programs (including several national award winners).

High Quality Audio is as important as the imagery of the video. Wireless microphones capture all the important audio in crytal clear clarity, from the vows to the whispers while lighting the unity candle. Ever been to a wedding where you can't hear the bride and groom? Surprising enough, that's pretty much how it is at EVERY wedding. By placing a wireless mic on both the Groom and the Officiant, you'll be able to enjoy every word.

Now you may be thinking "Wow, that sounds like it may be expensive. Can I afford a wedding video?"

Let's face it. The average wedding budget shrank by almost 12% in 2009. Wedding videography is not always at the top of the wedding budget checklist, and often is the place that gets looked at closest to be cut. Besides your marriage license, your photos, your rings, a dried up piece of cake, and a wedding video, what else will you have to remember your wedding by 20 years from now? The flowers? Maybe the shrimp cocktail at the reception? Unfortunately, those won't hold up too well over time. So video is an extremely important element that should be looked at closely.

kristin-and-micahThat's why Affordability is extremely important. Short of buying a new home or sending a child to college, your wedding is one of the most expensive financial outlays you face in your lifetime. And every service provider wants their money at the same time. Realizing this, we has found a way to help. When you hire us, 50% of the cost of the package that you choose reserves your date. But then you can delay your final payment for up to 1 year from the date of your wedding with no extra costs. After your wedding, we will provide you with the raw footage of your wedding on DVD, and then when you are ready to receive your edited copies, you pay the remaining balance at that point. The Brian Kelly Wedding Videography editing artists then will begin work turning the raw footage into your entertainment on your anniversary for the next 50+ years! And if at any point you decide that you would not like to have your video edited, just let us know, we'll waive the remaining balance and forward you the original tapes of your wedding so that you can do as you wish with them, with no penalties or additional fees. Check out our pricing plans and see if they might fit into your plans. Remember, you only have to pay 1/2 of the prices listed on packages to have professionally shot video of your wedding!

How Much Does A Wedding Video Cost?

Many times, the first question I get asked is "how much?". That's a tough question to answer. As the father of 2 daughters, and someone who has attended hundreds of weddings, I completely understand how cost can be the main thing on your mind. But I hope that cost is not the primary item that is driving your decision to have a professional videographer at your wedding. After all, your wedding day is only going to happen once.

As a storyteller and documentarian, I would be very excited to hear about YOUR day. Every couple has an exciting story or two about their relationship, something unique and special about their wedding, and family and friends who will help make the wedding something that should be preserved on video. So I would enjoy hearing about those details, and then work with you to determine what would work best for you to make sure that your story does get told.

The wedding video pricing / packages below are all common setups that fit many weddings, but they are just suggested start points. I will work with you to make sure that you don't miss out on anything that might be good for your wedding, as well as to make sure that you don't have to pay for something that you don't need.

Please take a look at the options, and then give us a call so we can see what works for you!

Important Note: A 50% reservation fee** holds your date. 100% Financing options are available through PayPal's "Pay Later" option!
